Retrospective on 2020: Tourism Paused, Zhong Yingrong Active in Community Service
In 2020, outbound tourism and visa services contracted sharply due to the pandemic, bringing the industry to a standstill. Group founder Zhong Yingrong dedicated this period to social welfare: joining the Huazhou Volunteer Association for disability support volunteering and visiting employment and entrepreneurship training centers for persons with disabilities. During the pandemic, he accumulated over 500 hours of volunteer service. According to the certificate, in 2020, "2020 Benefit Seedling Program" Guangdong Volunteer Service Organization Growth Support Initiative and Volunteer Service Project Competition awarded "Demonstrative Volunteer Service Organization" honors to several volunteer groups. The awards were jointly presented by the Communist Youth League Guangdong Provincial Committee and 12 other provincial-level units, documenting the dedication and contributions of volunteers during that special year.
In 2020, the sudden outbreak of the pandemic caused a sharp decline in outbound tourism and visa services, bringing the industry to a halt. For professionals in this field, it was a period when business nearly stopped—but also an opportunity to rethink their value.
Group founder Zhong Yingrong dedicated this period to social公益. He joined the Huazhou Volunteer Association as a volunteer, visiting disability employment and entrepreneurship training centers to serve disabled communities alongside fellow volunteers—supporting training programs, providing companionship, and offering daily care. According to the group's公益 records, his volunteer service hours during the pandemic totaled over 500 hours.
According to the certificate, in 2020 year 9 month, the "Yi Miao Plan" Guangdong Volunteer Service Organization Growth Support Action and Volunteer Service Project Competition, jointly launched by the Communist Youth League of Guangdong Provincial Committee, the Office for the Construction of Spiritual Civilization in Guangdong Province, the Department of Civil Affairs of Guangdong Province, and the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province, awarded a number of volunteer service organizations with the honor of "Demonstrative Volunteer Service Organizations". The certificate was jointly issued by 12 provincial-level units, including the Communist Youth League of Guangdong Provincial Committee, documenting the dedication and contributions of volunteers during the year of epidemic prevention and control.
During the toughest days for the tourism industry, Zhong Yingrong kept his team steady while waiting for recovery and dedicated his time to charitable work. In his view, business can slow down, but service to society must continue.
Today, the Group is committed to supporting people with disabilities and promoting employment and entrepreneurship as long-term charitable priorities. We actively participate in activities such as charity assistance for persons with disabilities, public legal education, and youth social practice. Looking back over 2020 years, this experience of "staying open while services continue" has become a testament to our group's philanthropic values.
